    1932

Due to the growth of Sacred Heart Parish, Holy Innocents Church and school is dedicated.

    1965

Roncalli High School is founded by the people of ten Catholic parishes in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.  It is named for Angelo Guiseppi Roncalli (Pope John XXIII), who symbolized values such as community, openness, and receptiveness to change.

Roncalli celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015 and is supported by 12 parishes in the region.  Presently, the school serves students in a 4 county area. Roncalli believes in the education of the whole person, including the need for spiritual, personal, academic, social and physical development.

    1989

The 6 Catholic schools in the city of Manitowoc form the Maitowoc Area Catholic system. (MACS)

    2005

The 6 parishes of Manitowoc proclaim the establishment of the newly organized St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

    2006

The former Manitowoc Area Catholic School System becomes St. Francis of Assisi School, serving students from 3k-grade 8.

    2020

The Diocese of Green Bay helps to establish the merger of SFA School and Roncalli High School, forming Roncalli Catholic Schools.  The new regional school is supported by 12 Catholic parishes serving students from 3k-Grade 12.

Roncalli Catholic Schools is committed to the parishes, families and students in the region.  Our dedication continues to be the values of service, spiritual growth, academic achievement, and community.

Pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 115.28 (54m), our school is required to notify and provide the educational options available to all students who are at least three years old, but not yet 18 years old. Please go to  https://dpi.wi.gov/ed-options to see the educational options represented for Wisconsin students.
